1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Verbali ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our language learning application ("Service"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Verbali.
  • By using Verbali, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Description of Service

Verbali provides AI-driven language learning experiences, including:

  • Real-time AI-generated language practice.
  • Feedback and responses generated by AI.
  • Personalized language learning recommendations.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

  • The AI-generated content provided by Verbali is for educational purposes only.
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated responses are always accurate, complete, or appropriate.
  • Users should independently verify any information received through the AI before relying on it.
  • Verbali is not responsible for any misunderstanding, misinterpretation, or incorrect application of AI-generated content.

5. User Accounts and Security

  • To access Verbali, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activities occurring under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

  • Verbali operates as a paid service with subscription-based access.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • We may offer promotional trials or discounts, which are subject to change at our discretion.
  • Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use Verbali for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Service.
  • Submit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content, including hate speech, harassment, or discrimination.
  • Misuse AI-generated responses to deceive, manipulate, or spread misinformation.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, and proprietary materials in Verbali remain the property of Verbali or its licensors.
  • Users retain ownership of their original content but grant Verbali a non-exclusive license to use it for service improvement.

9. Privacy

  • Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
  • By using Verbali, you consent to our data practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Verbali is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from the use of AI-generated content or reliance on the Service.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verbali disclaims all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
  • You may cancel your account at any time, but subscription fees remain non-refundable.

12. Modifications to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada at the appropriate court level.
